Mountain West Financial Announces Brian Edwards As New SVP Capital Markets

Mountain West Financial announced that Brian Edwards recently accepted the position of Senior VP of Production of Capital Markets. “I am excited to join a company with 31 years of experience in helping families achieve home ownership. I feel privileged to be joining a company that is client focused, technology driven and passionate about supporting our sales and operations teams to be positioned for great success. Whenever a new challenge arises, I am reminded of Theodore Roosevelt’s speech, “The Man in the Arena.” My favorite excerpt from it states: “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. Brian Edwards is our SVP Capital Markets where he will be leading Capital Markets, Servicing, and Post Closing. Brian Edwards began his adventure in mortgage banking in 2009 after launching his career with Grant Thornton as an Accountant in Dallas, TX. He has served in various roles, mostly in Secondary Marketing and Capital Markets. Outside of the mortgage business, he is passionate about education and helping kids achieve their best, and currently serves along some of the best as the Vice President of Finance for the Wylie ISD Education Foundation. Brian graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Masters of Accountancy and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Brian resides in Wylie, TX with his wife Tara, three daughters, Madison, Reese and Kinsley, and Bassett Hound, Charlie. “We are excited to have Brian join the leadership team here at Mountain West.  He brings the experience and energy that we were seeking to help the company to continue to thrive and grow,” said Michael Delehanty, CFO of Wholesale at Mountain West Financial, Inc.
